Meet The Team
The Dental Smiles Team
Take a look at some of the friendly faces you’ll see when you visit one of our practices.
Dr Arjinder (BDS)
One of our principal dentists, Arjinder is renowned for his calm manner and attention to detail. He works hard to put every patient at ease as he understands coming to the dentist is not something that everyone looks forward to.
Arjinder qualified from Barts and the Royal London of School and Medicine and has since devoted himself to developing his skills. Arjinder’s clinical practice is focused on dental implant treatment – from restoring a single front tooth to replacing a whole set of teeth. He has sought out the best courses and mentors from around the world, including America to Germany and beyond. Closer to home, Arjinder has undertaken training in dental implants at the renowned Royal College of Surgeons in London.
Outside of work, Arjinder is kept busy by his two young children Dylan and Ruby.
Dr Frances (BDS)
Our other principal dentist, Frances qualified from Newcastle University and has since focused on cosmetic dentistry, teeth straightening and facial aesthetics. She has a very loyal following owed in part to her gentle and approachable manner.
Another passion of Frances’ is mentoring other dentists to support their development. Between clinical dentistry, managing the practices and looking after her two young children Dylan and Ruby, Frances likes to play netball and is a yoga fanatic!
Dr Julian (BDS)
One of our associate dentists, Julian is originally from Devon, in the South West of England. Before he embarked on the long training to be a Dentist, he travelled around the world for a year, living in Australia for 9 months.
He graduated from Newcastle University with a Distinction in Clinical Dentistry. He has since committed to providing a high standard of dental care with energy and enthusiasm in London. Julian places a strong emphasis on prevention and minimal intervention to help patients manage their own oral health. He enjoys all aspects of his work and loves the variety that presents on a day-to-day basis. I particularly like spending time with patients to see how we can work together to get their perfect smile.
Outside of work he is currently teaching himself French, and you may see him turning up to the practice with my bike helmet as he is a keen cyclist.
Dr Kimberley (BDS)
Dr Kimberley is caring, friendly and easy-going. Her passion is creating the smile you were meant to have – one that is healthy, confident and beautiful! Her goal is to understand your individual needs and wishes, and to customise your care accordingly. Dr Kimberley carries out both, cosmetic and general dental care procedures that are minimally invasive and is certified in Invisalign.
Dr Kimberley received a scholarship to read BSc Pharmacology at the University of Leeds. She continued her education here and received both, a MChD and a BChD in Dental Surgery. In her final year she was also awarded with the Trevor Fox Award by the School of Dentistry. She believes in a holistic approach to patient care, and wants to provide her patients with the best techniques and technology, so dedicates much of her time to continuing education each year.
Dr Kimberley is bilingual in German and English. Outside of work, she enjoys a healthy active lifestyle, and stays fit by running and working out at the gym. Her hobbies include: yoga, skiing, scuba diving, cooking, travelling and painting.
Dr Lucy (BDS)
Dr Lucy is originally from Manchester. She studied dentistry in Leeds, and enjoys lots of different aspects of dentistry, especially restoring teeth with natural white fillings. Dr Lucy has a real interest in facial aesthetics and rejuvenation, so she is keen to further her knowledge and training in this area.
Outside of work Dr Lucy loves to horse ride, which she has done from a young age, and to travel; her most recent trip has been to a Vietnam, China and Hong Kong.
Dr Raj (BDS)
Dr Raj qualified from University College London and has been providing NHS and private treatment to patients living and working in the Gray’s Inn Road area for over 35 years. He particularly emjoys motivating patients to look after their teeth as a preventative measure. His philosophy is to try and conserve as much natural tissue as possible.
Apart from dentistry, Dr Raj enjoys taking his dogs on long walks and playing field hockey. His favourite film is an obscure one from the ‘70s called ‘Open Season’ with William Holden and Peter Fonda. He has fond memories of sneaking in to see it as he was underage, but it still gives him a great deal to reflect on, even after 40 years.
Dr Sam (BDS)
Our dentist Dr Sam gratuated from UWCM Cardiff and stayed working in the city until she got married 2003 and moved to London. Dr Sam has a passion for the cosmetic restoration of teeth, and her calm, gentle manner means she is great with our nervous and younger patients.
When not looking after patients, Dr Sam is kept busy with her two sons and a recently adopted stray cat. She enjoys reading, running and training at the gym.
Dr Stewart (BDS)
Dr Stewart graduated from Newcastle University with a Merit in Clinical Dentistry. After graduating he moved down to London where he completed his year’s Vocational Training placement. Dr Stewart feels it is important to keep up to date with modern advances in dentistry, so he is an active member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, attending regular postgraduate lectures and courses.
He is a certified Invisalign, Quick Straight Teeth and Clear Smile Brace provider, with all his treatments involving state of the art techniques. Using cosmetic teeth straightening, whitening and composite bonding means he will transform your smile in a minimally invasive way. This reduces the need for injections, pain and having to drill any healthy teeth.
Dr Stewart believes that it is important that he gets to know you so I can find the best treatment for you. He will always take the time to listen to you, to fully understand your needs, and discuss all of the options available to you.
Dr Caleb (BDS)
Dr Caleb studied in the Royal London Hospital, which equipped him to treat a wide range of conditions and patients. He is passionate about supporting patients to overcome their phobias and anxieties about visiting the dentist, and also helping people become more confident in their smile.
Dr Caleb also loves being a dentist because he gets to work with the latest equipment and learn lots about cutting-edge technology and tools. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, listening to classical music and tinkering with electronics.
