Dr. Abigail, MChD/BChD, BSc, qualified from the University of Leeds in 2021 with degrees in Dental Surgery and Oral Science. Her academic background reflects a strong foundation in both clinical care and scientific understanding, which she brings into her everyday practice.
A natural people person, Abigail was drawn to dentistry by her love of communication and building rapport with others. With a strong interest in health and a desire for a hands-on clinical role, dentistry felt like the perfect match for her skills and personality.
She currently provides a full range of general dental treatments as well as teeth straightening with Invisalign. Abigail is also about to begin further training in restorative and aesthetic dentistry to continue developing her expertise.
One of the most rewarding parts of her job is the moment a treatment is complete—when she gets to show the patient the final results and see their happiness and confidence shine through.
Outside the practice, Abigail loves staying active through yoga, spin classes, and playing touch rugby during the summer months. She also enjoys reading to relax and cooking (and eating!) at home.
Her favourite type of holiday is a skiing trip to the mountains, with a special fondness for the French Alps. When it comes to movies, Bridget Jones’s Diary is her top pick. Though calm under pressure in the clinic, she admits to one phobia—tropophobia, a fear of small, clustered holes.

Dr. Jack, BDS (Hons), MFDS RCSEd, MCGDent, qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2020 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Since then, he has continued to expand his clinical expertise by gaining postgraduate qualifications with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the College of General Dentistry.
Jack was drawn to dentistry for its perfect balance of science, practical skill, and the opportunity to genuinely help people. That combination continues to fuel his passion for the profession every day.
While he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, Jack has a particular interest in prosthodontics—especially crowns, bridges, and dentures. He finds it especially rewarding to restore both function and confidence in a patient’s smile.
One of the most meaningful parts of his role is helping patients overcome their dental anxiety. Building trust and watching patients grow more relaxed and confident over time is something he finds incredibly fulfilling.
Outside the practice, Jack enjoys staying active through swimming and running—particularly anything that gets him outdoors. When it comes to holidays, he loves relaxing beach destinations with plenty to do, with Capri in Italy being a recent favourite.
His favourite film is Kill Bill, and while he is comfortable with most challenges, spiders are his one true phobia!

I am a recent dental graduate from Cardiff University, where I completed my BDS (Hons) in 2023. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work in healthcare, and dentistry felt like the perfect fit—combining science, creativity, and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients.
I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, but I am especially passionate about preventive and minimally invasive approaches. I believe that a gentle, proactive style of care can make a huge difference in helping people feel confident and comfortable at the dentist. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone walk away with a healthier, happier smile.
Outside of work, I love staying active—whether it is swimming, running, or taking long countryside walks with my dog. When it is time to unwind, I enjoy a relaxing beach holiday (Greece is a favourite spot!) where I can switch off and soak up the sun.If you are wondering about any quirks, I will admit I am not a fan of spiders... but I like to think I’m brave in most other situations!

Dr. Claudia, BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), qualified from the University of Bristol in 2021. Inspired by the few doctors and dentists in her family, she was drawn to dentistry by its unique blend of science, creativity, and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.
Claudia has a special interest in cosmetic alignment and bonding, as well as restorative treatments including crowns and fillings. She particularly enjoys the technical and artistic side of dentistry—such as crafting aesthetic fillings—and takes pride in helping patients feel confident about their smiles.
What she loves most about her job is building meaningful relationships with her patients and being able to positively impact their day-to-day lives, both emotionally and functionally.
Outside the clinic, Claudia is passionate about reformer Pilates and is an avid reader. Her favourite travel experiences involve being close to nature, with South Africa topping the list of memorable destinations. When it comes to downtime, you might find her watching her favourite film, I Am Sam, or (more likely) avoiding insects—her one true phobia!

Dr Akhil studied dentistry at the University of Manchester before completing a postgraduate certificate in primary dental care at the University of Kent.
Dr Akhil has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and has completed a year of training in advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He’s always striving to provide patients with their perfect smile by using minimally invasive techniques.
Aside from dentistry, he enjoys keeping active and playing sports such as cricket, badminton, and football. As an adrenaline junkie, he also likes to scuba dive, ski, and rock climb.
I’m a Post-Graduate Trainee in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry and a Comprehensive Invisalign Provider.
My journey into dentistry began in a very personal way. Growing up with gappy and missing teeth made me incredibly self-conscious. I remember how life-changing it was when I finally got braces—I could smile freely for the first time. That moment sparked something in me. I knew I wanted to help others experience the same confidence and joy that I had found.
I’m especially passionate about fixing broken teeth and making them look beautiful. There’s something really fulfilling about creating smiles—it’s what keeps me coming back each day. More than anything, I love the feeling that I’m making a real difference in someone’s life by helping them take care of their health and confidence.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll probably find me out in nature—whether it's on top of a mountain or wandering a woodland trail. I also enjoy reading, eating great food, watching movies, and staying active.
My favourite film? That has to be Fight Club—a classic.
As for phobias… well, sharks give me the chills. And if I’m being honest, sometimes it’s not the fear of being inadequate that gets me, but the fear of just how powerful we can be.
I qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Liverpool in 2021. Since then, I have been fortunate to work in a profession I genuinely love—one that allows me to help people every day, build relationships through trust and care, and make each appointment as comfortable and reassuring as possible.
I have a particular interest in restorative dentistry and oral surgery. These areas allow me to combine technical skill with problem-solving, often making a real difference in patients’ confidence and quality of life.
Outside of dentistry, I’m a passionate sports enthusiast. I enjoy watching and playing a variety of sports, but football has always been my main love—whether I'm on the pitch or cheering from the side-lines.
When it comes to films, my favourite has to be No Country for Old Men—a gripping, unforgettable piece of cinema.
I hold a BDS (Hons) from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka (2004), and completed my MD in Restorative Dentistry in 2019 at the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo. As part of my post-MD training, I spent a year at the Royal London Dental Hospital and King’s College Dental Institute in the UK, practising as a temporarily GDC-registered dentist.
Now working as a Dental Therapist and Hygienist, I’m passionate about caring for people and helping them achieve healthier smiles. Dentistry has given me the opportunity to connect with patients in a meaningful way—and moving to the UK has allowed me to pursue this career while also giving my children the chance for a better education.
I particularly enjoy working with children, carrying out restorative dental work, and improving gum health. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing the transformation in someone’s oral health—and the appreciation from patients genuinely touches my heart.
Outside of work, I love spending time in the garden and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
When it comes to holidays, nothing beats a family trip back to my motherland, Sri Lanka, surrounded by loved ones and familiar traditions.I don’t have a favourite film, but I do enjoy medical-themed stories—The Resident is one of my favourite TV series.
As for phobias—none in the workplace, but I do have a strong dislike for serpents!
I qualified as a Dental Surgeon in 2004 from the Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.
I hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Sri Lanka, and a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Dentistry, specialising in Oral Cancer and Oral Pathology, from Yonsei University, South Korea, completed in February 2012.
I have a passion for treating sick people, which inspired me to become a dentist. My areas of interest include General Dentistry, Oral Medicine, and Pathology.
For holidays, I most enjoy spending time with my family in Sri Lanka.
What I like most about my job is the freedom and flexibility it offers, as well as the opportunity to help heal patients.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling, watching Netflix, and playing the violin. I don’t have a favourite film, and I have no phobias.
Hygienist
I qualified as a dentist in 2012 from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Medicine – Dentistry, in Tirana, Albania.
My qualifications include a Master of Science in Dentistry from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Medicine – Dentistry, a Master’s Degree in Health Management from the University of Medicine, Faculty of Public Health and Faculty of Economy in Tirana, Albania, and a Dental Implant-Prosthetic Course (Sweden & Martina Implants) at the Toscano Stomatologico Institute in Italy.
From a young age, I was inspired by the idea of helping others, especially those living in communities with limited access to healthcare. One of my childhood dreams was to travel to African countries and support people suffering from oral health issues. Dentistry allows me to combine my passion for healthcare with the joy of transforming lives — one smile at a time.
My particular interest lies in cosmetic dentistry. I love the precision and creativity it involves, and the confidence it helps restore in my patients.
When it comes to holidays, I enjoy immersing myself in different cultures and exploring new parts of the world. Lately, I have been drawn to discovering the diverse and vibrant cultures of the African continent.
What I like most about my job is bringing smiles to people. It is incredibly rewarding to witness the positive impact dentistry can have on someone’s life.
In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and paddle, hiking in nature, and travelling the world to experience new places and perspectives.
My favourite film is Hachiko — a beautiful story about loyalty, love, and emotional connection.
As for phobias, losing the people I love is my greatest fear.
I qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2021 with a BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. I was drawn to this career because it perfectly combines academic learning with hands-on clinical work—every day brings something new, and I love the balance of thinking and doing.
As a dental therapist, I carry out children’s check-ups and treatments, helping younger patients build healthy habits early on. In my role as a hygienist, I provide routine hygiene appointments, carry out deeper cleaning for gum disease treatment, and support patients with long-term maintenance to keep their oral health on track.
The best part of my job is, without a doubt, getting to know the patients. I really enjoy building those relationships and helping people feel more confident about their oral health.
When I am not at the practice, you’ll most likely find me playing football or going for long-distance runs—staying active is a big part of my life and helps me recharge after a busy day.

I have visited other dental surgeries in the past , but coming to Dental Smiles was a whole new experience. A bunch of friendly staff, Dr Caleb I am stuck with for life, I never knew extracting 2 wisdom tooth could be so pain free and effortlessly extracted. Trust me this is my second time of having my wisdom tooth extracted, but this second experience with Dr Caleb was amazing. I also had a filling, deep clean and I have been back for a routine check up just to see my progress after 3 months. Trust me I am well happy with the health of my teeth and it was money spent well. Thanks to everyone.
Yes, we welcome new patients to the practice and encourage everyone to get in touch with us to discuss their dental needs.
We do. If you have a dental emergency, we offer same day appointments to help fix the problem. We can give you complete and clear guidance on what treatment you will need to stop your pain and allow you to get on with your life. The cost of this dental emergency consultation is £80, and is not available on the NHS. We’re open on Saturdays and have some evening appointments available, so contact us to book an emergency dental appointment at one of our practices in Kings Cross or Euston.
We understand your fears and respect the worries you have about seeking dental treatment. If it matters to you, it matters to us. Our experienced team always takes a gentle, kind approach with nervous patients, taking everything at a pace that suits you.
In certain circumstances we can do remote consultations before an in-person appointment. Contact us to learn more.
We offer a free 45 - 60 minute initial consultation with one of our friendly treatment coordinators, which is available to new patients considering a cosmetic dental treatment such as Invisalign, veneers, dental implants, and dentures.
How much your appointment costs will depend on the treatment, but a new patient consultation including small x-rays and treatment plan will cost £55.
Invisalign treatment starts from £3,200. We offer free orthodontic consultations, but if you’re a new patient, you’ll need to have a new patient examination first, which will cost £55 including small x-rays and treatment plan. After that, we can book you in for your free Invisalign consultation.
Yes! We understand that investing in the dental health of you and your family can be costly. We want all our patients to access the dental care they need without the financial stress or worry, so we offer a range of payment options, including 0% interest free plans, to make your private dentist treatment as affordable as possible. See our pricing page for more information.
We recommend our patients have a dental check-up every six to 12 months, which allows us to keep on top of your oral health and make sure that we catch any issues as early as possible, to avoid any major (and expensive) remedial work.
You do! All our dentists deliver the highest possible standard of care, but we want to make sure our patients feel as comfortable as possible. You can request to see a male or female dentist, and we can also help you to choose one based on the type of experience you prefer and their areas of expertise.
A dental hygiene appointment is great for keeping your gums healthy and giving your teeth a thorough, deep clean. Our dental hygienist will assess the health of your gums and check for plaque build-up and gum disease, and usually carry out a deep clean and scale to remove plaque, and end the appointment with a polish.
Yes, for the health and safety of all our staff and patients, it’s really important that you wear a face mask when you’re inside the practice. Unless you can provide valid proof of exemption, you won’t be able to enter our practices or attend your appointment without a face mask. Once your appointment has started, your dentist or dental nurse will let you know when you can remove your mask for treatment.
As above, you need to wear a face mask when you’re inside our practices, unless you’ve been told otherwise. To keep our staff and other patients safe, your appointment could be deferred at short notice if you visit the practice with ANY cold or flu symptoms, or have recently been exposed to Covid-19. Our practice is always kept exceptionally clean and sterile, so you can rest assured that your health is in great hands with us.
