I couldn't be happier. I now look forward to going to the dentist - it's a miracle! The staff, especially Evgenia, couldn't be more helpful. This is by far the best dental practice I have ever been to. Couldn't recommend them more highly!
Our goal is to give our patients the very best dental experience, every single time.
You’ll have a free consultation with one of our friendly treatment coordinators to see whether Invisalign is right for you. We’ll discuss your smile transformation goals, you’ll have the chance to ask any questions, and you’ll be booked in to see one of our experienced dentists to begin your Invisalign journey.
At your next appointment, your dentist will take a 3D digital scan of your teeth using specialist Invisalign software, so you can see what your teeth will look like when your treatment is finished. Using the Invisalign tooth movement software, you’ll also get an estimate of the length of your Invisalign treatment.
Your scan information is used to create a series of clear aligners that are custom-made for your teeth, which work to gently move them at a slow, sustainable pace. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks for 22 hours per day, before being replaced by the next one in the series until the final position of your teeth is achieved.
Once your teeth have reached their goal position, it’s time to enjoy your lovely new straight teeth! Now that you’ve put in the effort to transform your smile, you’ll need to maintain it, so we recommend that you wear a custom-made retainer part-time which will help to keep your teeth in their new position – hopefully for a lifetime.
Invisalign is a great option for people who want to discreetly straighten their teeth, but the treatment success depends on how closely you follow your treatment plan. You need to wear your aligners for a certain amount of time each day, and make sure your teeth and your aligners are kept exceptionally clean, to keep any bacteria at bay.
As long as you follow your unique Invisalign treatment plan from your dentist, you’ll have the smile you’ve always dreamed of in no time at all!
Wear your aligners for 22 hours each day, except for when you’re eating.
Brush and floss everyday to keep your teeth and gums clean and healthy.
Clean your aligners daily to get rid of any trapped food and bacteria.
Rinse your mouth thoroughly after eating to avoid staining your aligners.
Wear a post treatment retainer to prevent your teeth from moving back.
Whilst both Invisalign and traditional braces are great teeth straightening treatments, it depends on your unique situation, including the current position of your teeth and the results you want to achieve. The obvious difference is their appearance – Invisalign aligners are clear trays that snugly fit around all your teeth and are removable, whereas braces are often metal brackets semi-permanently attached to the teeth and connected with rubber bands and wire. We recommend that you talk to your dentist about the teeth straightening option that’s right for your circumstances.
Yes! Invisalign has been trusted by more than 12 million people all over the world to transform their smiles. Invisalign clear aligners are perfectly safe; made from patented medical-grade SmartTrack material which has been FDA approved for long term use inside the human body.
Invisalign treatment at Dental Smiles London starts at £3,800, and the full treatment cost will depend on your unique treatment plan. We offer 0% interest, no deposit finance plans to help spread out the cost of your treatment, and you can come to us for a no obligation, free Invisalign consultation to see if it’s right for you.
Invisalign aligners are very thin, but your teeth will still feel a bit thicker than normal. This means that initially it might affect your speech, but you’ll quickly get used to how it feels and be able to speak as you normally would.
No, chewing whilst wearing your Invisalign aligners can cause damage to them, and certain foods can also stain the aligners, so we recommend you only consume plain water whilst you’re wearing your aligners. You should remove your aligners when you’re eating food and drinking any coloured beverages.
You should wear your Invisalign aligners for 22 hours each day, otherwise your treatment could end up taking longer than projected. This means you should wear your aligners at all times, except for when you’re eating.
In most cases, yes! The Invisalign aligners won’t harm any dental restorations such as crowns. Some types of dental restorations, like bridges and dental implants, can complicate orthodontic treatment, so your dentist will let you know if Invisalign will still work for you. Invisalign aligners are a great option for people who have had orthodontic work in the past, to correct any teeth movement since the treatment.
